About
I started as a software developer in Amman in 2014 and moved into healthcare IT in Riyadh two years later. Since then my work has sat in the space between clinical applications and the infrastructure underneath them.
At RLDatix I have grown from technical support into leading the Technical Services team. That path matters to how I work: I have answered the support ticket, written the interface specification, sized the servers and sat in the presales meeting, so I can see a project from every side.
Most of my projects involve connecting a patient safety or risk management system to everything around it, whether that is a hospital information system over HL7, a government identity service over an API, or a new environment in the cloud or on premise.
ZSK
What I bring
Where I work in the stack
Integration architecture
Scoping, designing and delivering integrations through direct interfaces, middleware, web services and APIs, with specifications written to HL7 standards.
Infrastructure and availability
Servers, networks, storage and virtualisation for cloud and on-premise deployments, including capacity monitoring and high-availability design.
Service leadership
Running a technical services team against SLAs and OLAs: installations, upgrades, escalations and the documentation that keeps them repeatable.
Consultancy and presales
Turning business requirements into technical solutions, and working with sales teams and customers to shape new opportunities before a contract is signed.
Highlight
National-level integration for Saudi patient safety reporting
As Senior Technical Specialist I helped build the national integration approach for SAWTAK, the RLDatix national build delivered for the Saudi Patient Safety Center and the Ministry of Health. The work connected the platform to government services including Absher, Lean and NHIC, and included testing each new interface and API.
